Here is a true barn find. As you can see the body is actually pretty decent on this vintage car. This is a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. This is the turbo style but it has been upgraded to a early 1970's Pontiac 400 engine. The car is showing 79K on the odometer. Hopefully the pictures answer any questions that you may have. The car runs but you can tell that the timing is off and it has a bad exhaust leak. There is a backfire in the carb but it does start and drive. I did notice that there is a minor transmission leak on the floor. The exterior as you can see is originally blue but it has a few different shades of blue on it. It does have the fisher T-tops. The car is not a complete rust bucket like most other MN Trans Am. The tires are weather checked as the car has been sitting for several years. The interior is actually not that bad. It has power windows which work and factory ac. It seems like the higher end TA. I have a 1979 trans am and the parts for these cars are not cheap. You could part this car out and sell the parts on EBay for over a grand easily. I personally think its too nice to do that.
