001 Three (3) Vintage Framed Bird Engravings Prints & Painting-James Gordon Irving & Local Owatonna Artist
–Two very collectible engravings by James Gordon Irving framed in solid wood frames. Frames are worn and one looks to have had some touch ups on the gold accent. Engravings are in beautiful condition. They have information plates on the back, one is No. 206-"HOUSE FINCHES & GARDEN ROSES" and the other is No. 207 "ROSE-BREASTED FROSBEAKS WITH DOGWOOD." Both have pencil date that they were gifted as 1949.“Hand painted bluejay oil painting/hand engraving on silk by Owatonna artist W. J. Jarvis. Label on back, frame is gold plaster, the hanging wire will need to be replaced.
